“Everything essential. Nothing extra.”
Dear Devotee,
For generations, पूजा has been woven into the quiet rhythm of our homes , the fragrance of incense, the flicker of a diya, the sound of a bell, an offering made with श्रद्धा. These are small moments, but they carry us somewhere larger than ourselves. Somewhere along the way, though, getting ready for पूजा stopped feeling like part of the ritual and started feeling like a chore before it. Hunting for the right samagri. Trying to remember if you already have kumkum at home. Running between three shops the morning of, hoping nothing's missing. That gap between the ritual we love and the errand it's become, is why RitKalp exists. We didn't set out to reinvent पूजा. We set out to remove everything standing between you and it: the searching, the guessing, the second-guessing. At RitKalp, we bring together what your पूजा actually needs, for everyday worship, for festivals, for the occasions that only come once a year so the only thing left to do is the thing that matters. Tradition doesn't need to be complicated to stay sacred. If anything, the less it asks of your time and attention beforehand, the more of both you have left for the moment itself. That's the small effort RitKalp is making: to help the rituals we've inherited stay easy to practice, easy to share, and easy to pass on to whoever comes after us. Because पूजा was never just something we do. It's something we feel, remember, and hand forward.
With श्रद्धा, Founder, RitKalp Making Rituals a Beautiful Part
Why we exist
Doing a pooja properly shouldn’t need a list from three relatives, a hundred browser tabs and a bag of things you’ll never use. Ritkalp works out what your ritual actually needs, packs exactly that, and explains every item so you can perform it with confidence.
The four things we hold to
- Nothing extra. If an item isn’t needed, it isn’t in the kit, and it isn’t in the price.
- Nothing hidden. Every item, its quantity and the reason it’s there are listed before you pay. Where we don’t know something yet, we say “Not yet disclosed” instead of guessing.
- Traditions differ, and we say so. Families, regions and priests do things differently. We give a clear starting point and tell you where yours may vary — please confirm with your priest.
- Calm, not pressure. No fear, no false urgency, no promises about outcomes. A ritual should feel steady, not anxious.
How we choose what goes in a kit
We start from the ritual, not the catalogue: what is used, in what order, and how much. Each item is marked Essential, Optional or Depends on your tradition. Fresh things (flowers, leaves, fruit, milk) aren’t boxed and shipped in advance; we list them so you can get them close to the day.
Premium without the price
For us premium means care, clarity and finish — a considered box, honest information and a guide that makes sense — not gold-plated packaging or a higher price for the same things.
